Anyway, me and Cotton-ease don't mesh on garments but for baby products. I LOVE it! Honestly, L-O-V-E. It washes easily (just wash with warm water and toss in the dryer) and it knits up so fast it almost knits itself.
Without further ado, may I present....
Diamond and Smock Cover
Pattern: Diamond and Smock Cover (pdf link)
Yarn: 5 balls of Cotton Ease in Light Blue on Size 9 needles.
Recipient: Not me =) It's for a friend who is expecting in March.
Likey? Yep. The smocking was fun. It wasn't the best knit for watching movies (the only time I really get to knit) but I made do.
p.s. thanks for all your nice comments about my knockoff!

GORGEOUS!!! That color is beautiful!
It's beautiful! I can't wait to learn to knit well. I'm taking a class this weekend so luckily I don't have to wait that long.
This turned out so well! And yes, I love Cotton Ease for certain uses too!
beautiful! I'm always drawn to cotton yarns but they can knit up so weird and heavy and sometimes stiff, it definitely seems important to find just the right project, which you definitely did!
So so pretty...
Very beautiful work!
