All the rumors are true. Entrelec IS that fun. Of course by the 30th of the 181 squares my mind started wandering to all the other things that could be "entrelec'ed" such as the sweater with all the fish that I can't seem to find anywhere. Unlike a lot of other knitters, I didn't learn how to knit backwards. I tried, but it felt so clumsy that I just opted to move the whole thing back and forth, which wasn't really that bad. Pattern: From Scarf Style Yarn: Noro Silk Garden, 7 skeins, Colorway 205 Needles: Denise Size 7 Like it? I finished this back in the beginning of January and I have worn it plenty of times. The silk garden is lovely to knit with and the color changes and just great but it is not the softest thing against my neck. Alas, it does its job in protecting me from the cold cold (not really) NY weather. I decided to only make 6 base triangles (I think the pattern calls for 7) because I wanted this knit to function as both a scarf and a shawl. The fringe I think is a lovely touch. Again, I shortened the length by about 30% because I wanted SOME fringe, not FRINGE fringe. Overall I like it. The colors are right up my alley and the piece is very functional. | ||

thanks for stopping by, I picked up the buttons at some yarn store in pennsylvania
Your scarf is BEAUTIFUL! I started making this with a much finer yarn because I wanted to save some money, but after seeing this, I really wish I splurged on the right yarn. Great job! and thanks for leaving me a comment on my blog :)
