Wedding dress update #1

Okay blog readers, please, be honest with me, this bodice style is not flattering on me huh?

For some reason I am strangely attracted to this style of bodice. I think it might be the princess lines and the straps, yes, it probably is the straps. What do you think? I'm worried that the square shape of the bodice doesn't sit well with my very square shoulders.

Any input would be greatly appreciated (and sorry for the poor picture).

From what I can see, your top looks fine. I happen to feel that Square shoulders are a fine thing. I have somewhat square shoulders and wore, when much younger, tops that were similar to yours and loved the look.

Maybe your attraction to this style of bodice is not so strange...it suits you! Go with it.

I don't see a problem with it at all. It doesn't scream square shoulders to me! From what i can see it looks like a nice shape for a bodice on you.

I'd be happy to have square shoulders :-). This top does emphasize yours, and that's a very good thing imho. Just go for it.

I think it's flattering. I'm not sure why square shoulders would be a bad thing (to have bra straps that stay up!), but it is not widening at all if that's your concern.
