I work hard for the money...

During fashion week (or rather month), I've seen this Maison Martin Margiela skirt pop up all over the street style blogs. It's normally paired with a hot pair of legs and an enviable heel.

One out of three ain't so bad right??? I'm not so sure I ever had the confidence or body to wear a super tight mini, but an A-line, now that, I can do. So, I changed the shape of the skirt and added a little more length.

Fabric: I used the same fabric that I used for these pants.

Pattern:
My own.

Awesome skirt. The zippers would even work for a either a straight or a-line knee length skirt if carefully placed.

cute, cute, cute! curious--are the zippers just decorative or do they actually unzip?

thanks for the kind words!

--soknitpicky: the zippers actually unzip. It was a pain because I bought them from Joanns and they only have zippers with the zip on the right. I needed one on the right and one on the left. I had to use pliers and other "tools" to move the zip to the other side.

Can we get a closeup of where the bottom teeth of the zipper meet because I'm confused by what you mean by needing the zip on the "other side"?

So does that mean you were featured on the Lane Crawford blog, when?

Zips are upside down, when closed the slider should end at the hem!
